Tamsin Cleary is a director and screenwriter based in London
I am a third-year film student at the University of Westminster and am currently directing one of my course's four graduation films, Terra Firma. Prior to my time at UoW, I was one of six directors selected from across the country for the BFI Film Academy Craft Residential delivered by the NFTS in 2014, and previously had won a national short film competition held by BFI. Deeply passionate about film from an early age, I am driven in my pursuit of the industry and the refinement of my craft.
In addition to my directorial efforts, I have also worked effectively in a variety of other capacities: everything from script supervisor to boom operator to floor runner, both at UoW and on independent productions. I also write for myself and others, with projects including Wanker, a UoW production which premiered at the London Short Film Festival. I am willing, ready and excited to take on entry-level positions within the film and television industry, and am particularly interested in both production and floor runner positions .
